Description

Sintra, palace. This is my last post from the palace of Sintra, it's more for info than else. If you have seen the shots from outside the palace, you'll wonder about the kitchen that has those huge smokestaks. This is it, it doesn't look as big as one would expect, but then you look better and see that there are no fireplaces: it's the whole room, both of them, that tapers up to a chimney. When needed they probably lighted bonfires in the middle of the room to roast a whole calf on one of those enormous spits ... never seen one like this ...
