beautiful close up and photo, but What plant is it, they are many kinds of dormant, even the big C is a dormant seed. could it be a Venice Mallow?

This looks like a broom! Very cool symmetry to the 'head' of this pod. Wonderful focus on this to blur out the background and get the viewer to really look at the main point of your picture. Simple yet beautiful. Very nice work!
