Nice outcrops. @ Rich2: You may be able to achieve isolated outcrops like this by checking the Adjust Coastline box on the Displacement tab of the Fractal, but it was probably achieved in this case by applying an image mask in the Blend by Shader option of the Displacement Fractal.
