Description

Combining their efforts, the magi drive the demon out of their younger sister. Hello everyone, and thanks for viewing my latest post. This image took a lot of work, and taxed my poor computer to it's limits. For those interested, here's how it was made: I sketched out the scene, figuring out where the characters were going to be in the setting, and planning on placement of the lights. I then built the scene in Poser, using Danie and Marforno's excellent set. I posed and rendered each of the characters separately, careful to use the same camera angle, and saving each image as .png files. I then combined the images as Photoshop layers, and using the eraser tool, carefully cut away parts of each image to allow the characters (and their shadows) to show through. I then created the magic effects by using a number of filters and settings, mostly by trial and error, until I was satisfied with the finished product. I'm very interested in hearing what you all think of this one, and I'm looking forward to your suggestions.
