Description
The spaceship "Hope" passes over Phobos bound for Mars in daily strip 6 of "Earthspace" (also known as Lance McLane), probably the best science fiction strip ever (created by Sydney Jordan - who also created Jeff Hawke).
The planet, moon and starry background were rendered together and used as a billboard for the spacecraft. This improves render times and let me light the spaceship to match the lighting in the original drawing
