crowds are hard to depict, i think its always one of the bigger challenges. what i like most in your image is your use of simple elements, it allows to add own views. most beautiful done!

Ana, you get such variety of expression in these media: There's really a lot going on in this piece...aside from the actual people, you have such variation in tone & texture, it's almost like an abstraction of an oil painting, abstracted down to tone & stroke & blacks and whites...I love your shadows, and your massing of darker forms inside of the lighter forms make it like a big tangled behive of people. A wonderful evocation of a crowd; and you have anonymity & individuality all in the same piece. Boy do I wish I could do what you do with inks & watercolors; you're teaching me new things. Beautiful work, and, while simple, it's really very complex.
