Description
Another Bryce work in the series of the exterior-interior. For commentary please also read my previous work Space in space. What is the difference between the view in a window, in an open door and of a picture hanging on the wall? There is none, but our mind makes the difference. It is our thought which supposes it should be a room, because there are floor tiles, there is a door, there is furniture and a ceiling. Our mind also says that the picture on the left is a window because it recognizes window frames and that the mountains are a picture on the wall because of the picture frame. You will recognize them like that also because of their proportions. But what if I changed the frames? How can you be sure the mountains are not the outer view and the sea a painting? To make it more confusing, I gave the open door a totally different view from the window, so one of them must be fake, if you continue to think. One can also stop thinking and just look and see a meeting of different worlds, encountering each other in the mirror ball.
A mirror ball is not an easy thing to add, you must give your room a front side, because it is reflected in the ball. I even added a long table which you can see only in the ball reflection.

That is very clever. Love your text, made me think. You have a great imagination, that is very clear, and reading your text made me think of a sentence I once read: "imagination is just intelligence having fun".
