I like fact that you made this a landscape image not a portrait (it's really cool as a landscape - gives it some grandeur and makes it more epic) overall the colours and lighting that you chose to use (blues and greys) are subtle but look very good. I really like that fact that you didn't 'overcook' the image- you probably could have filled the landscape with props and models but you didn't - the result being a simple but effective composition.Really Good lighting. A good example of a sci-fi image. good stuff! ps: it is very stargate ^_^ i like stargate so you get an extra star!

Very nice, I like the idea of a portable looking SG, cool lighting and character as well.

Its already been commented on but I really like the subtle use of colour here and the bleak, open aspect of the background. The gate and the figure are all the better in such a setting.
