Who does not know that great the old Disney movie .... this is a tribute !
In this pic I was experimenting with improvement of vue - stones. They look rather poor in close-up view. Here I modified the "2 lichen deserts" texture" by changing scale and bump and activating displacement , the result seems not too bad to me .....
Gila and cactus from cp (differnt authors).
I´m interested in other experiences with stones and texturing.
Enjoy!!!

Nice "Foto"!

Nicely done. I've not had much luck in the texture editor of Vue, perhaps I should spend a few more minutes with it. The simplicity of the scene adds to the interest, it is not overcrowded, and the texture work steals the show. I am impressed by the shadows, that is one aspect of 3D art that is often overlooked, yet adds a high degree of realism.

These rocks "rock!" There is enough variation while they look like the same type of rock that you might see in nature. Nice render.

Nicely done, but the sand texture looks a little bit flat, with no tracks on the lizards path.

It has such charm. The rocks have a nice texture -the sand is less convincing, but also very beautiful at the same time.
