BUY THIS CAR!!!
Eighty-fourth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
Oh no, not another photo of a rare antique flivver! Don't you have any shots of an everyday flower, tree or river?
Hope you enjoyed your short hiatus away from the classics, but here they are again in full nostalgic regalia!
In re the top photo, these autos were coming down the pike so rapidly it was difficult to compose and click to get in a decent shot with my aim and shoot Canon. I did set the shutter speed relatively high to freeze them as they rolled by.
Thankx for clicking on, and have a monumental Monday.

Nice collage of this classic!

Looks like a couple of Beverly Hillbillies in the top photo. And there is one of the bags to keep water in hanging off the right front headlight. I bought one on my first trip west in 1962...I thought, well if I break down miles from nowhere, at least I'll have water. The air rushing around and through the woven bag kept the water cold no matter how hot the outside temperature was (as long as you were moving)!

What a beaut! That is a real classic there, Harry, but it looks like there is hardly enough room for the rider and passenger! Very interesting combo of shots, Harry!

Nice collage!! This Roadster is something I don't see often enough. But why does it contain an advisory for content? I looked and looked and still have no idea...

My uncle used to drive one of these. This one looks like it could use a paint job to compete with the other pampered cars at this show, though. Still a lovely remnant of our vehicular past!

ROFL @ the top image. Gosh, it looks like those guys are 'wearing' the Roadster!!! They could almost re-register it as a walking ring!!! Gorgeous specimen though Harry and I really wouldn't mind having a cutie like this!!!!
