Description

Hello! I have been at a loss with my camera these past weeks... no inspiration. So I have decided to go back in my files. This is from my Arizona trip, August '08. It was taken in Oak Creek Canyon. A beautiful place (but it was hot!); my husband used to play here when he was a youngster~ so we decided to check it out. My previous upload, "~ Especially for Goodoleboy/Harry ~". I hope everyone is having a wonderful new year~ Hugs, ~Melinda~

OMG, Melinda, I was wondering what happened to you! It's been seemingly eons since you last reported on this site. My Southern California buddy! Think of everything you've missed! Not only my beautiful classic cars, but also the flowers, etc., which I threw into the mix while you were away. Anyway, lots of wonderful color blends, character and depth in this capture of Oak Creek Canyon.

I'm not sure where in AZ this is but it looks like high desert. Very beautiful and I think I might like to check it out for myself.

It's taking me a while to get into the swing of not satisfying my Renderosity addiction, but now that I have an hour's access, I'm looking back in your gallery and finding all sorts of gems. THIS is one of them. I love the POV here as well as the composition. The water, the rocks, and everything works perfectly! Great shot, and it inspires me to want to write. I've been somewhat at a loss as to what to do while back in Chicago (especially since things aren't as they should be here) but this is a great break from all of that and a reminder that there's a whole world out there. Great work!
