Description

Every day we change... every day we are different. We are never the same every day. How can that be? Our cells are continuously replacing themselves. Our thoughts are different every day. These are a natural part of our life process. So why is it that we are resistant to some changes? We don't resist the weather... we don't resist trying new food (well, maybe sometimes… LOL). What we sometimes seem to resist is changing a habit or pattern. Could it be that we resist because that old pattern or habit is comfortable? Is it a way of being that we've become accustomed to? Whatever our unknown reason is... whatever we think might be the reason, change can be unsettling and yet exciting at the same time. Think about the times you have tried something new... weren't you excited and yet a little resistant to try that something new? If the truth were told, I feel that we are all a little resistant to change at times. So today... just for today... let us create a mental equivalent of that change that we wish to take place in our lives... let us imagine for ourselves that we are in that new space where we wish to be... let us move about in our new space. What does it feel like? Does it have form or is it a way of being? Try feeling that too. As we absorb our new feeling, we will allow ourselves to relax and reinforce with our inner Self that we are comfortable with everything in our surroundings. Then we can add a few more elements into our imaginary scene and complete the picture for ourselves. What are we doing? We are practicing the experience of the change that we have desired. By doing so, we will have a welcoming comfort level when the change actually occurs and we will move ourselves forward into our new experience easily and effortlessly. It takes practice and some getting used to, but eventually we can use this imagery exercise whenever we desire a change in our lives. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: 'Like the butterfly, I shed my past as I grow. Now if I could only shed the thoughts that go with that past.' Gayle O May there always be peace in your valley of live and joy dwell in your heart forever. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 3D Hack 2.08. This was created by working with the Tips for Textures with Crackle tutorial written by skellorg at DeviantArt. The tutorial download can be found in the fractal resources section at Deviant art. There were some major tweaks by me. Post work was done in PSP. Thank you for stopping by to share a moment in time with me. I appreciate you viewing my art and leaving comments on my images. Each one is like a precious jewel and that I will always treasure. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You make my world a little brighter and bring rainbows to my valley of life. What a wonderful gift to receive. I wish you a day of comfort. I wish you a day of ease. But most of all I wish you the comfort love all the days of your life. Namaste.

change is good as long as it's in the right direction...those that are unable to change and adapt to new situations are the ones that lose out...i know it's darwinian thought, which many will criticize citing social darwinism is too rigid, etc., but from my point of view, it is a truism...love your fractal--the design is very interesting...

your painting is filled with silken veils, yet each veil is transparent and shows the worlds behind it. And your light, as it so often does, dapples the inner universe you paint, as if to say that light shines everywhere and will touch everything eventually. You have dome-like shapes here, canopies that cover and hold this undulating universe, and they too seem transparent, they're solid but they morph & move with the waves around them. And you have those beautiful opaque 'droplets' which are solid sometimes, and seem apparitions others, whispering through the layers. All of this is like the butterfly, forms ever morphing, forms ever showing the light behind & around them as they, themselves, change. The light never leaves...You couldn't have painted your words better. And your spectral colors seem to emerge & submerge as if to say they're all there, and will visit everything in due time...More beautiful visualization, Gayle, to match your inward words...a painting of beautiful inner lights...
