Very interesting, is the street undergoing repairs or has it been left like this? I know wooden walkways along the street shops and dirt streets used to be fairly common at one time.

i hope it will be over soon, too. that said, i like the juxtaposition of stately buildings and a jagged scar in the ground. very extreme and almost unreal.
