My favorite tiger portrait, taken 2005 in the zoo of Rheine (Westfalen/Germany). Hope you like it as much as I do! :)

Oh he is a stunner Karsten and this image is stellar!!! The focus, coloring, his expression - priceless!!! However.... ...just wait until you have been to the African bush (and you are invited to come visit Bruce and I) and stared into the eyes of a fully grown male leopard over a mere three meter distance... then you decide what your favourite kitty is.... grin

A gorgeous cat! He has that "house cat" sort of cheerful curiosity about him -- I could almost imagine a little "prrrrt?" sound coming from him. Wonderful shot!
