To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.

trying to catch up (bear with me)...this almost feels like a scene from Dickens, with your darkly detailed stone street & lanterns (beautifully done, Mina), and the dark moon & foggy sky. It also looked a little like RR tracks at first. You really have beautiful lines here, the street & building lines all flow into the energies that flow around her, which you've articulated with very saturated hues, almost silver & incandescent: She seems to be creating a great cloud of power around her. And there's a city in the background, a quiet but beautiful backdrop to her "outlying area" display of inner-powers. It even seems like you have these creepy little characters on the side walls...and in any case the deep hues of the fog are creepy and just beautiful. A beautiful work mina, no surprise; and it feels as much like deep night as twilight to me, but either way it's evocative & beautiful.
