Description

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY: "The world is mud-luscious and puddle-wonderful." ~ E.E. Cummings, poet (1894-1962) Lucky Bill requested another infrared photo, so here you go. Sorry for the corny title, but nothing overly original is sparking in the synapses this morning. It was either that or Strawberry Trees. :| I find it interesting that the nearby foliage has a redder tint while the distant trees are more yellowish. Can any scientists in the audience explain that one?

In the olden days, my father had a vinyl record album - the old 33 1/3rd - of E.E.Cummings reading his works. And 2 of his books on the shelf. Even as a pre-teen, I was totally taken with his use of the language. His words go well with your photo. Look in the distance, over slightly to the right and follow the wood post fence off into the magical trees.

I guess it has something to do with some trees being in the sun and others in the shade. I just love the effect you have here it makes for a wonderful fairytale type of place. My favourite capture today.
