Description

Hello ! My Beloved late Mother In Law Had a bucket and a bowl of Silver-Plate. I always liked them, but they always had to be polished, so I put them away, I admit. Yesterday I found them and now I really like them as they are with this lovely Patina. These deep colors. I have changes alot since I started with my photograph hobby. FULL SIZE PLEASE for more details. Thank you so much for your kind commends and favs to yesterdays post. Special warm thanks to those who added it to their favorites. :))) Have a great day. I will be very busy today, so I havent got much time for my PC all day. I hope I will be able to catch up with comments later in the evening or tomorrow. My husband and I and severel family members are all going to a Lecture about our local Harbour, where my Great Grandpa was signing the papers when it should be builded and later my grandpa became Harbour Master and so on. Very interesting for us. See You. :)

Very interesting image - silverware is hard to look after - hope you had a great day at the lecture - your family has a rich history in that area - cool

Your capture of the silver looks much like Mother-of-pearl. :-) Gorgeous colors. I take my silver out twice a year and for 2 days the whole family polishes. And the following weekend we will repeat it with the brass. :-) Sounds like you will have a great lecture and learn so much.

full size this really radiates, Helle. It's totally alive with shapes & forms & organic process...decay is truly a great process, proving once again that it's no more than life for the 'rest' of nature (even if it's a little if-fy for us!). Beautiful close-up, a macro of silver doing its thing. It's beautiful.
