OK I just have to say thank god for Photoshop. I had underexposed this shot from my session with the lovely Kristen and I was able to bring it back from oblivion with some careful adjustments.
Another thought I am having about the digital process… I take 100s of shots at a photoshoot then spend the next several months returning to the digital negatives and finding things there to create. It is like having these huge collections of raw gems just waiting to be discovered as they are or uncovered and polished into gleaming works of art or expression. It really is an amazing process that no one could perhaps have anticipated. Happy accidents.

Beautifully enigmatic, sort of a modern-day Mona Lisa. Fantastic job with the tech aspects, I never would have guessed there were exposure difficulties if you hadn't said so. And an excellent choice of model, she is very photogenic.
