yes, same rose, but this capture brings out yet another personality. Here, the petals really feel like some silken fabric (which just goes to show how rich flowers are) and they shine. Wonderful capture of the water-drops too, as they're very clear and very present, poised on the petals as if they'd come out for the photo. Very sensitive work. (Didn't you mention O'Keeffe to me? Did I remember correctly? Well if you like her work, I can see why. I'll tell you, as an artist, that few things in nature seem to capture the sensual & creative the way flowers do. And by 'creative' I mean the power of creation, like they embody the creation of the universe in one swirling being. O'Keeffe found the cosmos in a flower. I can see, from your gallery, that you're drawn back to flowers again & again to see all they have to offer. And as you show, they never stop offering, they're that rich...)
