Looks like a great show! I remember Belushi and Akroyd doing this on SNL. When they announced the movie, I was blown away. How on earth were they going to turn a five-minute skit into a whole movie??? I thought it was the dumbest idea I'd ever heard, and that people would be bored out of their minds with the movie. Apparently I was mistaken. :)

Belushi was so versatile - he could do comedy, love stories, adventure, and his love of music really gave him the soul that carried him in his performances with The Blues Brothers. Akroyd was his perfect complement and together they were dynamite in everything they pair up with. Seeing these shots really brings back good memories of good times for me and this one shot really recalls the energy Akroyd had when he fed off Belushi. Again, great lighting and emotion in this.

Awesome shot, Bruce! I love it!! A perfect action capture! The Blues Brothers were awesome, and the movie remains a classic. Aside from Belushi and Aykroyd, the rest of that band were phenomenal musicians. I still absolutely love Matt "Guitar" Murphy's playing in the song "B Movie Box Car Blues". I recently picked up the 25th Anniversary of the film, which included about 15 minutes worth of stuff that was originally cut out. A side note: I was hanging out at this place on the beach in Mallorca called the "Daiquiri Palace" while in port there with the US Navy in '89. They played two discs over and over again: one was Jimmy Buffett's Greatest Hits, and the other was the Blues Brothers soundtrack, lol!
