Rosemary brought deviled eggs to our gathering at Lisa's place on Saturday.
If you zoom, you can probably pick one of them up and take a bite!

Holy crap, seriously, besides the fact that it's a stunningly amazingly beautifully captured macro image for all it's details...I have to say that really, I hate this picture! Yeah, I know, and honestly, I'm sorry...I mean, I do really really REALLY want to like this picture...but the plain and simple fact is that, yeah, I can see them in their superbly rendered forms, and really, I can even convince myself that I can smell them...I mean seriously, I had a 'nasally' Pavlovian response when I first saw this and I thought I smelt deviled eggs when I saw this pic...but really, I do hate this pic...but ONLY because I can't taste 'em right now...and dammit, I want some frikin' deviled eggs because of you!!!

This is a coincidence. I happened to take several pictures of eggs frying yesterday. I'm not sure why, other than it goes to prove a photographer can seee an imminent photo everywhere. Well done.

Eggs and I do not get along well in the same room but I do love them all the same. I just don't eat them. And I am careful about regulating the ingestion by the other family members who live with me... I tell them..."you can have deviled eggs OR you can have beer, but you CANNOT, under ANY circumstances have BOTH!" and if you don't know why I say that, it only takes one time to have them both at once to demonstrate, shortly afterwards, what the hazzard is. :-)
