Description

More of Slide Rock, Oak Creek Canyon. (located somewhere between Flagstaff and Sedona, AZ). I had such a great day here. I took so many photos. Unfortunately, the lens hood caused many of my photos to have "shadows" on the the edges/corners. Imagine my dismay, to put it nicely, when I saw that! I don't know what the heck happened. So... many of my Slide Rock photos will be cropped on the edges or have a creative border. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy Slide Rock because I have a lot more ;) My previous upload, "~Sunset... over the wall~". Thanks for your comments. try turning the lens cap for wide angles to the smaller protrusion.that is if the leading edge has varying lengths.still an awesome capture

Nice shot and scene even if the frame does not quite work for me. Have you added some sort of filter? This can extend past the range of the hood, and cause this problem, in that case remove it for wide angled shots

Simply gorgeous view and the reddish rocks are warm. I was convinced by your shots to this place to contact my sister (who says she has driven past this place but never gotten out to walk around) and tell her to put in on the schedule for my next visit. :-)

Except for the fact you can clone out the troublesome shadows at the edges/corners, my comments echo all those that have preceded me in this magnificent picturesque capture, Melinda!
