It was always a joyous event when the discus fish returned. Usually it was the children who spotted them, early in the morning and soon, the entire village was up and celebrating.

Used AhEnvironment. I was raising the sample rate to lessen the graininess and after a couple adjustments, I like the grain that was there. Gives the image an antique illustration look. fish rom Toucan, made the building. Textures from Mayang. Considerable postwork to get the coloring right.
Yes, I know fish live in water, but maybe the kids do too. In my world it all makes sense eventually.
