well I hope I can paint with gouache the way you do! Yes it tells a tale (as Koosie said), and I like Martin's comment on how it shows us things about relations. It does. And for me, your long sleek lines—the way you break them up as they flow down—remind me of the great Chinese & Japanese masters, who painted big bold lines that broke-up as they moved across the paper (or silk): They understood that there's a whole world of life in a simple line moving down a page: You have that, you capture it perfectly. The people may be doing "bla bla bla," but your brushwork has much life & movement. I love how you use the brush. Beautiful & simple & expressive.
