Description

This is the same chickadee that I posted on January 11 with all the extra growths on its feet. It seems to be getting along just fine, and was waiting on a branch to go to the feeder. Thank you very kindly for your generous views, faves, and comments on my recent images.

Beutifully captured Maria, this seems to be some viral infection that can cause these foot growths, but I have to admit never seen it on little birds as more common in larger species.

Although she seems to have so many extra growths on her feet which to some would appear ugly, she certainly makes up for it in her captivating looks bodily, a real cutey!!!! It is good to see she is dealing with her disabilities so well, isn't nature amazing? Great shot Maria, hugs Jane xx
