Description
This is a scene from my back yard, taken this week after we had a light snow. That's my Crape Myrtle bush in the center, and the forsythia with some ice on it behind on the right. Both quite dormant. The green also on the right side is a pine tree I planted over 10 years ago.
Nothing special, but it's home, and you know what they say about home. So true.
Come spring it will be quite a different place. The Crape Myrtle will have an abundance of white blossoms and the forsythia will of course be yellow. Can't wait!

An amazing tree. Love that one center rod/stalk that defied the masses and grew straight as an arrow. Can't wait either. Come spring your back yard will be awashed in color. Lucky you!
