Description
My friend Lisa has the most beautiful things in her home. I went crazy trying to take pictures of everything!
This table top apparently began life as something else. Perhaps an iron gate, part of a fence, the bars on a window ... I was so fascinated with the object itself and the light streaming in the window that I didn't ask. There are those of you who will undoubtedly want to know, and I'm sorry I didn't think to gather the inforation for you.
There will be more pictures of this table later. With something like this, angles and pov change everything!

This is a great table, and you caught it so it almost looks like the iron is floating in air. I can tell you there's Gothic in it, that's about all; the band towards the bottom has those "trifoils," those little 3 petaled flowers encased in a thick band (it's at the other end too). That would place the design in the 1200-1400s...but this piece could've been made 80 years ago. As with all your shots, very classily captured, and I love how you show us so many pieces of life...
