Description

I took this photo with my cell-phone on my way home from work - some duck mother???? had gone astray with all her ducklings and ended up in the midst of the traffic in the rushhour in the city were i live - and she was very scared, confused and very very protective - the last i saw of her was that she and her ducklings hid in the leafs you can see in the back of the picture, maybe she was waiting til rushhour was done - i hope she and her cute ones survived /Arne

This happens quite often around here in the spring...wouldn't you think the mothers would want to keep the little ones near the water where they were hatched? Silly ducks. Nice shot!

Wow that was a scary moment, it is such a shame that humans need so much space making lots of roads to fit all our vehicles on, and that wild-life can suffer so much. I hope that all was well in the end, thanks for sharing hugs Jane xx
