Description

Hello, Members.
I finally hit on a new feature for the Zip Tank.

It's an interlocking cylinder in Poser!

These cylinders are automatically expanded and contracted to follow the movement of ZipTank's joints. Please give your impression of it.

If you are interested in it, you can look at the details in Youtube.

I assume this is a WIP since having them exposed like that would make them vunerable to damage, you'd need something along this line to have the tank auto stabilize for firing on the move. love your designs

Good one. I assume you used "Point at" for that.

That's pretty clever, it worked out very nicely. It all looks good, but the piston on the first animation looks really excellent.

Thank you for your comments. Hello, blbarrett. I will write "how to" some time. But, I am a Japanese. I am not so good at English. It is difficult for me to explain technical "how to" in English. Please wait. I say only the hint for you. The interlocking cylinder system is no ERC, it is no Morph, it is no IK. It is a very simple solution. And, it moves very accurately :) Poser is very great software !

No ERC, No Morp, no IK? How in the world...? And you say it was simple? Mind blowing.

If I remember correctly, this is set up using the 'point at' command. Very nicely implemented here - this is a great looking model!

Thank you for your comments. Hello, CrownPrince. I say again, The interlocking cylinder system is no ERC, it is no Morph, it is no IK. It is a very very simple solution. And, it moves very accurately :) I am not blowing :) stayhighさん、こんにちはヽ(´▽`)ノ 現在はさらに研究がすすみピストン問題(円運動直線運動変換)と機関車の動輪問題を解決しました。
