Description
Glorious resplendent chrome! Reflections, anyone? In fact, there are reflections in the reflections!
Eighty-ninth in a series of classic vehicles, captured 9/21/08, at the beautiful Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, held annually at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club on the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula in overpopulated Southern California.
For more information on this event, see my posting for 9/28/08.
These photos slipped through the cracks when I was posting my series of 1933 Duesenberg Tourster collages back on December 9th to 11th of 2008. I thought that was it as far as this model was concerned until I found these two pictures lying dormant last night in an unknown category folder.
These pics were taken well after I had snapped the previous Duesenberg photos. The early morning clouds had since departed in this instance, leaving a brilliant blue sky and sun to further brighten the subject matter.
Depicted in the top photo, among other things, is a mass of gleaming chrome, along with my reflection in the headlight. Plus the bottom picture, looking forward, of the left side of the engine and ancillary equipment, also with its fair share of chrome.
Thankx for the visit, and have a super satisfying Saturday.

Excelent close up of the engine Harry. Sure a full sun worked in your way to give this double capture an extra shine.

These cars are so wonderful, if you've earned any rewards in heaven, you'll probably be presented with your own Dussie when you get there one day :-) Glad you found these...they are well worth a drool over. Your photos of the classic cars are crystal clear and super sharp. The colors are magnificent.

Someone sure worked hard to polish all that chrome! But not well enough to see the details of -YOU- well enough! :)
