Description

A hover-rider pauses to take in the rusted wreckage of a huge space cruiser while on a ride through the desertscape,the massive hulk of one of the engine thrusters jutting out from the terrain. All items created in Bryce 6.1...distant planet is a freebee from Egehlin,figure is Michael 3 in DCM Racing gear(from Daz3D and posed in DazStudio),hoverboard is my own model created in Bryce.All textures are from cgtextures.com(except michael's suit and board which are preset textures)Sky is a custom preset.This is my first attempt at creating a custom transparency map that I used to create cut-outs in the wreckage.The main ship part is created from a combination of lattices and spheres,other pieces of wreck are lattices.Rendered in Premium with soft shadows and true ambience selected.Thanks for viewing and any comments or crits you care to leave!

Great ships models and textures. Great composition... the addition of the bright pink color for the scifi suite focuses the attention to the figure. Very nice.

Well done. I love the texture. I have been battling with this same type of texture for sometime now. I really like the over all like. Keep up the great work.
