love all the comments, and I fully back Gun's ("your talent to bring forth what you call Simple things is incredible") Absolutely. This is that balance I talk about...a big thick, beautifully gnarled tree-trunk shown against a stark white background; and again next to those beautiful grayed-out trees in the background—completely opposite textures...symphonies in the simplest contrasts. And the detail on that front tree: amazing. It looks almost poured on, or like it has reflective panels in it. A luminous bark...Amazing what you get with a tree, a white sky and some distant trees: The whole universe is represented. Beautiful winter capture.
