I have always been fascinated by this place and read about it whenever I find a book about it. It's one of the books my father had in our library when I was young and the pictures and explanation of the digs was one of those things I never learned enough about. This is a fantastic shot... I wish I could see how it was back then with the people working and playing in this place. Wonderful shot.

Thankfully, preservation happens with the archaeological exploration of the area! It would be a pity, and such a loss, to learn without the caution of preserving the sites and areas. So beautiful. :)
