UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

This looks to have been fun to create for a great result. We have heard about your Super Bowl so I do hope you enjoy watching it. I think I would have to be a Cardinal supporter as it looks to be such a pretty bird!!!!
moonrancher
Cool! I like how you did the extra drop shadow for the glasses. And the blue eyes really stand out. If you lower the saturation on those reds and yellows, the eyes would stand out even more. Hehe.

This is totally unique and original. I've never seen anything like this. A new meaning to helmet head I guess. :-) Excellent postwork.

Moonrancher's suggestions are spot-on. But of greater importance, who is the gentleman?

Enjoy the game! Or is it over already?? Tells ya what I know about football. I am more of a baseball fan.. and counting the days till spring training! :)

Excellent work.

Not one, but two men in the moon. I don't recognize the gentleman in this unique concept, evidently not Neal Armstrong, but you did a marvelous postwork job in its creation. You had a lot of fun manipulating the layers. Although there were way too many penalties, that was one heck of a Super Bowl game. I was rooting for Arizona, and thought they would pull it out at the end; they lost, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Is them you, Bill? A fun render to be sure. I had to pull for the Steelers cuz my girl is from Pennsylvania. Next year, da Bears!

LOL, great idea--and football? I thought the Cardinals were still in St Louis, or is that baseball???? I have no clue!
auntietk
Nice! :) Great game, huh? I enjoyed it very much. Lots of screaming, and we taught the little kids who were there to throw their arms up and yell "touchdown!" whenever either team scored. They were SO cute! :)

Hey Bill, you did a great job doing what you did to do what you did here. I guess you proved that the moon is not made of green cheese. Good show!!!
