This evening while pursuing the never ending task of cataloging my photography, I came across this photo of Julia taken not too long ago while we were photographing a currently uninhabited old southern Victorian Mansion located deep in the ghettos of Memphis, Tennessee. The house has a fascinating story, and we were quite lucky to have been given the opportunity to photograph it in its uninhabited transitional state. Multiple photos of that excursion are posted around January '08 and December '07 in both our galleries. Of course we didn't go there to take pictures of each other, but I did sneak in one of her at the very top of the winding stairway that dominates the interior of this magnificent structure. The dwelling is quite haunted, and later she told me she was feeling the full effects of its energy when she was at the top of this stairway. But you wouldn't notice all that by looking at this photograph. So I dedicate this picture to absolutely the most amazing woman I have ever known. Her passion overwhelms with everything she indulges in. And I should know! marshall
