Struggling to Create.
BIO
Mother of 3, getting back to doing art and trying new avenues. Making use of drawing, acrylics and coloring drawings with PSP.
Update 2 Feb 2009
Still a mother of three. My youngest is 16 and lives with his Dad. My 19 year old just joined the army and my daughter is 22 and a student at Mich Tech in the upper pennensula of Michigan. I live with her, her partner and their 7 year old daughter.
Still struggling to create.
I did a stint with Second Life for about 14 months before I was accepted into Metaplace beta. I have decided to use this platform to showcase my art and story progress for the graphic novel I am writing. I will be creating an MMORPG set in the lands the story takes place. The great thing about Metaplace is that you don't need to be a scripter to make games. Or an artist for that matter. Right now artists are collaberating with scripters to make thier worlds while user modules are still being created, but once it goes live, anyone can make worlds on thier own.
My goal for my Metaplace world is to use all original art. The biggest problen is that I have no experience with 3D programs. I know about Blender and Wings3D but find them daunting. I do want to eventually learn them, but in the meantime I am finding work arounds. Some things I can create in SL and screenshot for Metaplace. Other things I can analog draw, scan in and work with in PSP. I noticed on my return to Renderosity that there are forums for these programs and I plan to make use of them as I work.
My focus in RPG games has long been role playing moreso than combat. My world will have both and encourage the RP end of it, offering experience points for RP time as well as resource gathering and crafting, so a character would not have engage in combat to raise in experience.
The welcome area will have infiormation and progress about the story, as well as RP classes, and links to Metaplace tutorials and demos.

Spinning my fantasies all around
Freed from the gravital leash
I swear the heaven's in my reach"
