... titled as such as it's the same place as this shot; I decided to keep the colour this time..
Well the UK has been hit heavily with snow the past day or two, and indeed there was a thin covering when I got up this morning, with hail, sun, high winds and fog throughout the day. I thought I'd head out to try and capture some of the snow but it wasn't really thick enough to explore in the limited time I had before sundown... so I headed to see what the sea was like, and the waves were ferocious in the high winds... unbelievably I came away unscathed this time in the most hostile conditions I've shot in recently.. (about 10 mins after this shot the heavens REALLY opened and winds picked up to near gale force.. time to retreat to the car!)
I wanted to get some slow shutter speed action going to convey the power of the waves (which you don't really get a sense of in this one) under the setting sun, but realised my tripod head is on a mate's camera so it was hand-held all the way today with necessarily faster shutter speeds... nevertheless I think this one turned out ok..

Your photography is just soooooo impressive! ! ! You have such a wonderful eye for catching the best captures. These clouds over the ocean are so dramatic, so powerful... The tonal quality is stunning. The water flowing over the rocks is like icing on the cake... and it's a wonderful cake indeed! I read one comment on your most recent images, saying that you should sell your work to someone to be put into calendar form. Well, I agree with that statement. Your works ought to be shared around the globe, which I realize it is, being here online like this... However it should be shared in print form such as a calendar or even framed prints, each print standing on it's own merit. In my humble opinion, your work is so VERY outstanding!
