Description

Taken today in my backyard of a Natural White Pine.

Thank you all for your recent comments. My daughters 16th birthday party was a lot of fun. I think we had about 18 kids in all, boys and girls, and I only had to get on them once, so I was pretty impressed great group of friends she has, and best of my house is still standing LOL. She got out of school early due to snow and is out sledding with friends. It is pretty but a bit too cold for me. Have a great and Warm night.

nice work with the cones & branches, mingling with that crystalline snow. It's a very nice study, the kind that painters would do, turning a few branches & leaves into a full beautiful painting. Looks like fresh snow, and a lot of it. I have no idea how much snow you get, but it's nice you get a big cover of it. (I know your fall wasn't exactly your favorite last year...) Nice reds too, and we can see the crystals of snow. Very peaceful capture while your daughter & company were having a bash. Glad they didn't tear down the house. (You should see what we did when I was that age...) A simple & eloquent shot of one of winter's joys. So nice to be back here again...
