Description

APO 2.06 Heard from my son today and he's doing well. He told me that losing a fellow soldier two weeks after arriving in Iraq was hard. For all of you that expressed concern for him he told me to tell of of you "Thanks for the support and prayers" Last night my wife and I went to the wake of Matthew Polinni, the soldier that was killed from my sons unit, it was so sad. His parents told us that they still will support all of our troops there and may the rest of them come home safe. I did this flame a while ago and it's exactly how I feel today. We all need a beacon of hope.

I want to thank everyone who has supported my son Matt, his unit and all of our men in Iraq. When I email him I include your comments and support. He thanks each and every one of you. I'm sure when he does get home there will be a special note from him here.
