I don't find it unsavory, but rather like a crown jewel of the heart, sitting on some kind of royal cushion and surrounded with a subtle aura. The jewel—actually almost a molusk-like creature—seems compact, and though simpler than some of your forms, it has real life in it. Your choice of green (for the background), not to mention the slight pattern on it, makes this feel like the jewel's sitting on an old royal stool; and you reflect that green very nicely in the reflections of the entity's facets. Feels alive, and precious. Maybe a little unsavory, but to me much more 'prized'...

Very neat, it kinda reminds me of a seashell. What's interesting is every is seeing this slightly differently. I think that's what I really like about your work, how it speaks to each of us in a slightly different voice. Great work, as always.

Oh Nancy! How could you even think unsavory .. unless next to this Swarovski Crystal (or is this a shell cut diamond?) almost everything looks a bit blah. This is so beautiful, I love the aura it has, magical. I love that it's sitting on a pillow of ancient silk .. sigh .. such beauty!

To me this looks like a beautiful diamond that is so big it casts shadows. How big and expensive would that be, nothing unsavory about it at all.
