My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I say that's beautiful the way the light comes in from that direction. Excellent image. I love the look that copper gives! Then pitchers are fascinating objects anyway, and one like this is even better. :o) Love it.
Minda
beautiful and excellent shot..
MrsLubner
Brave lady! Shots of copper in strong backlight is not easy. I have tried and not come up with anything nearly as good as this. I always get funny colors and "stars" in the surface. I do love the strong, bold curve of this pitcher.

Now if you had said this is a copper's pitcher, I'd know that it belonged to a policeman. Stellar backlighting in this composition.

Wonderful job on this!

You did an excellent job with this presentation. I have mentioned it before but I have several extremely interesting glass pitchers...but being clear, patterned glass, I haven't come up with the right way to photograph them yet. This photo makes a good point to me again...find the right context and lighting. Nicely done.
