Description

Yesterday, I had the chance to purchase a new digital camera for myself (something I have planned to do for a while) and so I got the Canon Powershot A590 IS. And of course, as anyone who's purchased a new camera, everything and anything is fair game to be shot. so, in between DAZ work, LCT series and other such fine things (and I use that term loosely) I will be posting some pictures that I've taken with MY camera, not my mom's. While she's bee very gracious for letting me use it, I wanted my own to take with me where-ever I go whenever I go. some of you might recognise this rock - it was used when I posted my 100th upload. and that is a chestnut next to it. I will say that this camera has some serious funtions on it as well as the ability to change lenses. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and faves with my last image Fae Valley portrait - Carnetto & Family. I really appreciate them Mike

Mike, a very cool capture. I don't know that much about photography, yet. I am hoping to get a digital camera too. However, I really like what you do with light and shadow, especially in your outdoor photos. This is awesome as well. ;)

Well really Mike. A rock with a power cord?? What does it mean? What does it do? Does it light up or dance or play music??? Is it a security camera in disguise? Is it your's or your Mom's?? I must say that it's wonderfully captured with your new camera. You are going to have such fun taking shots of everything in the house .. maybe even showing some more of the unusual gadgets you own, ROFL!! Oh .. is the chestnut powered too? Perhaps by a AAA battery?? Sorry .. just having major giggle fits
