Description

There is a time to sheath a sword and a time to unsheath it. For this Celtic princess, it is time to draw her sword. A young man has been sent to murder her, but fortunately for the princess, he falls in love at the sight of her and resolves to be her secret protector. His leige lord will send others but only a few will live long enough to engage the princess in a fight. Had this model of Stonehenge that was very geometric, rather than rough-hewn. Thought it might be useful in a render of a time when that site was young. Anyway, was a fun render to do. Thanks once again for your visit and for all those comments on past works. Always means a lot to me. Jeremy CREDITS: Bryce 6, Poser 6, PSP 5. Trees: Alpha planes created by Old Forest (Net freebie). Grass texture: Flink's Grass photo-textures (Renderosity). I like the mood here and the shape of the monoliths or walls go very well!

Great looking girl/warrior. Great layout! But the stones look far to smooth for me. Great try - rough up the stone work and repost! I'll be SOOOOOOO cool, my friend. Good Try. Rob.

Many theories abound concerning stonehenge but very little other than imaginative interpretation of what little historical evidence exists to base them on. Personally, I think the structure had a thatched roof and was more of a town meeting hall and tavern than an astrological or religious shrine. If anything was worshiped or observed there, it was barley. :O)

VERY COOL AS ALWAYS. Stonehenge model is reconizable if not overly accurate. Been there many many times before modern man put in fences and paved pathways. Keep up your great work old man. LOL.

I doubt those stone were ever that geometrical, but what the hay, it gives the scene a maze-like look.

I love the characters and the story that goes with them. A Celtic princes, an Assassin ready to strike. And with a nice twist for the resulting outcome. And hey, it only has to be Stonehenge if you want it to be. If you arrange them differently, they could be anything else. Put some brickwork or cobblestones for a nice terrace with benches and pavilion and the carved stone slabs as a perimeter Celtic Stonehenge like rocks could still be on Celtic land, and maybe there were other similar rock establishments, those that didn't survive through the ages. Nothing like a little imagination if and when the storyteller (and Gamemaster) requires it. ;) On the other hand, it very well could be Stonehenge when it was young. Your characters leather and tanned animal hide garments certainly fits that sort or era. All in all, good job!

So romantic and the start of a good tale. I haven't used the model yet but it looks so good.
