Maybe start with the small ones, and you'll feel more confident about that big one! :) I can't wait to see what you do. I like this image very much. It has a stark, bleak beauty about it. Nice and moody. Lovely work!

Virkelig flot!! Ja, jeg har været på maler weekend hos Anette. Så, jeg er bagud med opdateringerne her på RR. Det her ligner det er malet men jeg ka forstå at det er photo manupulation. Skide flot, det må jeg sige.

Beautiful use of the background, Helle. It feels like the end of fall with the winds blowing the last of the leaves in a furious dash before winter. Lovely and warm.

wonderful how you got the patina to become an old landscape-background...you've really used the spotting and oxidations sensitively...they become part of your sky and part of your ground. It looks like an old painting: The patina gives the painting the look of age; but it also becomes part of the landscape. It has Northern European sensibilities, from the 17th & 18th C's, even the 19th. Just the right frame too. You've really captured an essence of your photograph, it transforms it but wholly respects it...

Very impressive. It really looks like a true old painting on a true canvas, inside a true wooden golden-plated frame. Surprising… and very beautiful!
