Hi! And thanks for taking the time to look at some of my work.
For anyone who is interested I'm a designer living and working in Sheffield, UK. For my day job I am Head of Design for a small games company and my job involves art direction, concept work for games screens and motion graphics using After Effects & Studio Max.
In my spare time I like to create characters and creatures from Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres using ZBrush, Max & Photoshop. I'm hoping to create a good portfolio of this kind of work in the next couple of years and set up a website to try and generate more work in this field. :)
Thanks again for your time.
Chris.

Excellent work Chris!!...What level(how many polys) was this at??...I think I always go too high too soon.....As I've never had any kinda schooling in Art/Sculpting/Anatomy I'm finding it very difficult to produce a "plausible" human head from a basic sphere....Do you know of any Tut's out there on this subject??

Cheers for the comments chaps! Jeff - At the moment this sculpt is at 1.5 million polys, going up another level sometimes starts to slow my computer down or can cause problems loading it back in as it would be around 6 million if divided again. Sometimes I try to get as much detail at around 1.5 then divide it again for a final render. Yeah going too high too soon doesn't always work out. Try starting with a polsphere as this is a subdivided square in zbrush and you won't get any nasty poles like with a sphere and start moving it about with the move tool to get the basic shape before divided and adding more details. You can always go back to lower levels to move major parts. Use reference material as well, I never used to and wondered why I wasn't getting anywhere. Not that it looks like him but I used quite a few pics of Christian Bale to get this sculpt started. Send me your email and I'll send you over a basic head tool to practice on if you want. It's very basic mind (doesn't even have ears) but might help.

This looks totally plausible to me- nicely done!
