I've loved art since I was at school where I grew up in England.  Over the years, I have dabbled with different mediums, pastels, charcoal, acrylics. But then life took over, as it does, and I had neither the time nor the room to pursue my artistic interests.
When I got a computer I started playing around with various graphics programs, but didn't find anything that could really help me create original art until my fiance, Eric, introduced me to Bryce 3D. I was thrilled to finally have a program that enabled me to really explore the realms of artistic expression. At first I followed Bryce tutorials and then started creating some original pieces.
When I was introduced to DAZ, by way of a great tutorial, I used it at first to create characters to import into Bryce renders. Then I  began creating renders completely in DAZ and exploring its wide range of possibilities. Eventually my husband and I both got Vue 9 Esprit and since that time I've been working with it, learning more about it through tutorials at Geek at Play and an online class at LVS.
I still consider myself a beginner/hobbyist compared with the many awesome Vue artists out there, but I'm trying to improve my skills.
I recently opened an online store at Zazzle.com -- 3D Designs by Jayne. It features numerous products, from greeting cards to posters and wrapped canvas, from decorative tiles to laptop and iPad sleeves, with my original artwork on them.

Job well done Jayne. The thing that really grabs me with this one is his expression and the way the horse looks back to him. They really look as though they've spent a long time together, love, respect, and trust each other. Maybe I'm reading into it, but getting people to do just that is a success in my book.

An excellent scene! Nicely done.

While the love is expressed as much today I think your image brilliantly captures the emotions between the warrior and his steed from times gone by. They certainly were more bonded due to the fact they depended on each other; more often lived, fought and died together.
