Description

Vintage 1860, Plymouth, Ohio. There aren't a lot of these old brick buildings left unless they've undergone extensive refurbishing...old mortar tends to return to its' basic components (mostly sand and lime) and crumble. This building gives evidence of some tuck pointing (surface patching of the old mortar between the bricks). Thanks for stopping by. Bill

Move to the UK Bill, plenty over here. Beautiful building probably built at a time when cost wasn't the leading factor.

Very nicely seen. Wonderful contrasts and that gorgeous blue sky. Just like we have today. That trim paint really sets off the design, too.

High tech in its time...and some great colors in the image...

It looks nearly new to me. Such a great job of patch I hardly noticed it. Our old brick buildings here in town are slapped back together, sometimes in the most horrid ways. :-) Gorgeous upward view.

Stellar POV, clarity, colors, lighting and textures in this magnifico capture, Bill! Ornate edifice, built just in time for the Civil War. Contrasts well against the relatively dark sky.
