Description

A cake, a few presents... Yes, today is my 24th birthday. I don't feel like having a happy birthday. BTW, saw my psychologist yesterday and showed her the art I've been making lately. She said it was healthy. Better to express my feelings by creating art than acting those feelings out in which case I might do something really bad. Will see my other doctor next week to get my medicine changed. For those who saw my image "Strung", we talked it over and I will be withdrawing from my classes today.

I like the concept you have created. This image invokes a powerful message about loneliness. Many people can relate to this. You are aware, of course, of the universal law that if you go through you entire birthday without anyone mentioning it, it doesn't count -- you do not age a year. Keep up the work -- I think you have much to say with your art.

So glad you talked with your doctor about your feelings and your decision. Take a break, get better, do more art work. Be glad you have lived to see your 24th year on the planet. I don't know your friends and family but I bet you they are very glad that you live to see a new year. About your artwork. It is a very stark rendering. It shows your feeling and mood. Bravo! Not too many artist can successfully convey their feelings as well as you do. I like it.
