Description

Wood storks: endangered, and shy. A neighbor's been feeding the birds, and while I feel that it's not good for wildlife to lose their fear of humans, I'm not going to miss a chance for some close ups. When I sat down on the grass, 3 birds walked up. It was almost creepy - just how close are they gong to get? They decided about 7 feet was a safe distance.
