Description

I believe this is your every day garden snake. I got down on mt knees and got a close as possible without scareing him off.

Those are good to have around. I'd buy a bag of 'em and put in my gardens if I could. Tragic how so many people kill them just because "it was a snake". Your focus is dead on perfect!

Is that a Garter Snake? If so... it's not poisonous but can bite and defecate on you if you handle it. But don't take that view with the camera if you come to Australia. We have a whole gaggle of poisonous snakes including Fierce Snakes (AKA Inland Taipans). They are the most poisonous snake in the world with venom more potent than any other species by a huge margin.

Wow!!! Beautiful snake and capture too!!! When I was living in a farm there were many of theme, and is very a bonus that they stay in the garden to safe the vegetable from the mice!!! Great work!!! :)

Moving targets are difficult especially when they are closing in toward you- this is perfectly timed. Excellent
